About the race

ADAC Marathon Hannover is a multi‑discipline running event in Hannover organised by eichels GmbH. The programme includes a full marathon including a handbike category, a half marathon (H/21), a 10 km race (ROSSMANN 10K), a relay marathon (enercity Staffel‑Marathon), as well as walking and Nordic walking options. A Familientag offers a Minithon, children's runs, school runs, a family run and an R5K distance.

Separate events connected to the marathon programme include Nachtlauf Hannover with 5 km, 10 km and a children’s run, the Maschsee Triathlon and the fem.RUN around the Maschsee. Entry fees are tiered by registration volume. Examples from the published schedule include marathon fees of 105 € and 115 €, a handbike fee of 99 €, half marathon fees of 74 € and 82 €, Nordic walking 68 €, 10 km fees of 35 €, 40 € and 45 €, relay fees of 170 €, 180 € and 190 €, and family event fees such as 12 € for the Minithon and 8 € for most children and family runs. Participants must complete a health check questionnaire and accept the event’s participation conditions. The organiser publishes results and participant lists and may use event photos and footage for media and promotional purposes.
