Marathon P'tit Train du Nord
Marathon P'tit Train du Nord is a road running event held in the Laurentians region of Quebec, with the next edition scheduled for October 3 and 4, 2026. The event takes place near Saint-Jérôme, about 35 km north of Montreal, and is typically organized the first weekend of October.
The main race is a linear point to point course starting in Val-David and finishing in Saint-Jérôme. The route follows the P'tit Train du Nord recreational trail and runs largely through wooded natural areas. The marathon distance is given as 42 km and the course has an overall elevation loss of approximately 220 meters. The organizers indicate a high qualification rate for the Boston Marathon from this event.
The race weekend also includes a half marathon and related race activities. Course performance records are noted for past editions including results in 2021 and 2023. Registration for the next edition is scheduled to open in December 2025 and each participant must complete their own registration.
