Marathon P'tit Train du Nord
The Marathon P'tit Train du Nord offers a marathon and a half-marathon on a linear course through nature in the Laurentians, starting in Val-David and finishing in Saint-Jérôme. The route covers forty-two kilometres of forest and greenery along the route des pionniers.
The course has a predominantly downhill profile with a total of 220 metres of negative elevation. The event reports a high qualification rate for the Boston Marathon. It is usually held the first weekend of October; the next edition is scheduled for 3 and 4 October 2026 and registrations open in December 2025.
The event takes place in the Laurentians region, about 35 kilometres north of Montreal. Published images show stretches in forested areas and on an adapted cycling path.
