La Course des Lutins de Val-Morin
La Course des Lutins de Val-Morin is a winter sporting event organized by Courir Laurentides in the heart of the village of Val-Morin. For its 6th edition, the event offers non-timed courses set within a holiday-themed atmosphere. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes during their run.
The following distances are available:
- 1 km "Enfants Sages" (Well-Behaved Kids)
- 5 km "Enfants Terribles" (Terrible Kids)
Every participant receives a race bib and a commemorative medal. A podium ceremony is held to recognize the best costumes. To support families, snow activities for children are organized during the 5 km race. Santa Claus will also be present at the event.
Located at 1121 10e Avenue, the site features a winter fair with local artists and artisans. Food booths offer various refreshments, including vegan soup, pastries, coffee, hot chocolate, mulled wine, and craft beers. An outdoor fire pit is also available.
