Marathon Baie des Chaleurs
The Marathon Baie des Chaleurs takes place in Carleton sur Mer, between sea and mountains. The event has welcomed more than 1,500 runners over 13 years and is described as family oriented, community focused, friendly and safe. The next edition is scheduled for 6 and 7 June 2026.
Seven courses are available for walking or running, covering a range of distances for different participant groups:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- 21.1 km
- 42.2 km
- 42.2 km relay
- Youth 1 km
- Youth 3 km
Youth races occur at Parc Germain Deslauriers. These youth events are non timed, allow strollers, and accept individual or family entries; snacks are provided to participants.
The organization provides race results and photos from previous editions and prepares a participant guide for the 2026 edition. Volunteers are recruited for site setup and takedown, course refreshment stations, participant welcome and bib distribution, course safety and traffic, first aid, and photography and video.
