Event overview
The Maple Grove Lions Half Marathon, 10K and 5K is a community running event held on May 9, 2026, in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The events use city and park trails and some road segments around Rice Lake and through Elm Creek Park Reserve. All races begin and end at the Maple Grove Senior High School stadium. The event is presented by the Maple Grove Lions and raises funds for community charitable donations and service projects.

The half marathon and 10K courses are USATF certified (Half Marathon: MN23009JHP; 10K: MN23005JHP). The certified routes were last modified in 2023. The 5K and 10K routes were revised to use more paved trails and fewer streets. A virtual participation option is available. All finishers receive medals and all runners receive race T-shirts. The event has been held annually since 2008, typically in mid-May.

Pre-packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2026, at TC Running - Maple Grove (12862 Bass Lake Road); pickup is available for all participants, including virtual entrants, and can be completed on behalf of others.
