Event Overview
The Maple Grove Lions Half Marathon is a running event with three distances: half marathon, 10K, and 5K. The 2026 edition is the 19th annual event. All proceeds support the community through charitable donations and service projects.
Course and Location
All three races start and finish at the Maple Grove High School stadium. The half marathon course is a new route through Elm Creek Park Reserve and around Rice Lake. The 5K and 10K routes have been revised to spend more time on nature trails and less time on streets, with fewer turns. A virtual option is available where participants can choose their own route.
Participant Perks
