Manvers Dusk Till Dawn
"Manvers Dusk Till Dawn" is an overnight running event held on footpaths around Wath Manvers Lake. The course is a flat 3.21 Mile circuit and the clubhouse is located on the course where facilities are available for entrants.
The event is an endurance format in which participants complete as many 3.21 Mile laps as they can within a 12 hour period. Runners may pause and resume as they wish. The route is off road on footpaths with no road crossings and is mostly unlit, so a good head torch is recommended for running at night.
Each lap passes the clubhouse, which provides toilets, showers, a quiet room, food and hot drinks, and a bag drop. Parking adjacent to the clubhouse is included in the entry fee. Camping is available on site at an additional cost of £15 per pitch and must be pre-booked; arrival and departure arrangements are specified by the organiser.
The entry fee is £30. Competitors receive a medal and a certificate, and t shirts will be available to purchase with details provided closer to the event. Entry is limited to a maximum of 300 participants and entries and transfers close one month before the event date unless the event is not fully booked.
