Manvers Dusk Till Dawn
Manvers Dusk Till Dawn is an overnight running event held on the footpaths around Wath Manvers Lake on a flat 3.21 mile circuit. Participants aim to complete as many laps of the circuit as they can within a 12 hour period. The course is off road, flat and has no road crossings; much of it is unlit.
The clubhouse sits on the course and provides toilets, showers and rest facilities including a quiet room. Food and hot drinks are available at the clubhouse and a bag drop is provided. Parking is included in the entry fee and is located adjacent to the clubhouse. Camping on site is available for an additional cost of £15 per pitch and must be pre-booked.
Entry information notes an entry fee of £30 and a maximum of 300 entries. T shirts will be available for competitors to purchase closer to the event. All competitors receive a medal and a certificate. Entries and transfers close one month before the event date if the event is fully booked.
Participants planning to run through the night are advised to use a good head torch because much of the course is unlit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
