Event overview
The Manitoba Marathon is a multi-distance race weekend held at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. The 2026 edition takes place on June 21, 2026, with youth races on the preceding Saturday, June 20. The event is an official Boston Marathon qualifier. The race weekend includes an expo, spectator resources, pace teams, and programs such as a champions-in-training school program, corporate challenge, and elite athlete awards. The Manitoba Marathon partners with United Way Winnipeg for fundraising to support people with intellectual disabilities.

Registration for 2026 opens December 1 and uses four tiered pricing blocks that increase as registration fills. Typical race inclusions vary by distance but include a custom race bib and finisher medal; many distances also include a finisher shirt or souvenir hat. Family pack pricing offers a 10% discount for a minimum of two adults and two children registered in a single transaction, up to five participants. Relay team captains register and pay for the full team; team members register differently when captain-paid.
Entry fees are non-refundable. Transfers must be completed online before the deadline. Participants may opt into a Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program for covered refund reasons.
