Race operations and rules
Timing is electronic: individual events use chip bibs and relay teams use a timing bib belt transferred at exchange stations. Race kits must be picked up at the two-day Fit Expo unless the race day pick-up add-on was purchased. The course is measured on roadways and the official course closing pace is 14 minutes per mile; participants passed by the course-closing vehicle will be required to exit the course via shuttle. Bicycles, roller skates, roller blades, unofficial cyclists, and pets are prohibited on courses. Baby strollers and joggers are not allowed on the Full, Half, and 10 km courses but may be registered for the 5 km Super Run. Portable headphone devices are discouraged and are prohibited for Elite Athletes.
Registration and refunds
Registration opens December 1 for the 2026 event. Entry fees are non-refundable; an optional Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program is available for participants who wish to purchase refund coverage. In the event of an in-person cancellation, 2026 in-person registrants will be transferred to a virtual event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
