Manitoba Marathon : Overview
The Manitoba Marathon is staged on the University of Manitoba campus with start and finish at Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The event features multiple race formats on roadways that are closed to normal traffic.

- 42.2 km Full Marathon
- 21.1 km Half Marathon
- Marathon Relay with exchange zones
- 10 km run/walk
- 5 km Super Run
- Mini Mites and Mighty Mites youth races
Logistics and safety Starts are organized in corrals with pace per mile signage for self-seeding. Timing is conducted using chip bibs; relay teams use a timing belt transferred at exchange stations. Only registered participants and authorized course personnel are permitted on the course. Bicycles, roller skates, pets and strollers/joggers are prohibited on some distances; strollers are permitted in the 5 km Super Run only. Clothing drop-off is in the Pinnacle Room inside Princess Auto Stadium and a Family Meet Me area is located in Section 143.
Course closing and transfers The course closes at a pace of 14 minutes per mile. Participants passed by the course closing vehicle are required to exit the course and will be shuttled back to the University of Manitoba; those runners will not receive an official time.
Registration and policies Registration for 2026 opens December 1 and uses four pricing tiers that increase as blocks fill. Entry fees are non-refundable. An optional third party enhanced refund program is available for eligible circumstances. In the case of an in-person cancellation, registered in-person participants will be transferred to a virtual event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
