MammothMarch Wisconsin 2027
MammothMarch Wisconsin takes place on June 26 and June 27, 2027, at the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest. The event uses the Long Lake Recreation Area in Cascade, Wisconsin as the start and finish location and highlights the nearby Ice Age Trail and the forest's rolling hills, lakes, and wooded areas within roughly 30,000 acres.
The event offers two single-circuit route options:
- 20 miles single-circuit loop about 900 ft elevation gain
- 30 miles single-circuit loop about 1,500 ft elevation gain
Routes include a mix of paved and unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads, and forest floor. Final route maps will be published about two weeks before the event. Water stops and aid stations are placed roughly every 5 to 7 miles and provide toilets, food, and drinks; these refreshments are included with registration. All finishers receive a personalized certificate and a finisher medal. Participants who stop early receive a certificate indicating mileage covered.
Complimentary parking is available on site. Lodging and accommodation details will be announced later. New participants receive a MammothMarch Hiking Pass on site while returning participants may bring existing passes to collect 2027 stamps. Merchandise is available through the event store and the official MammothMarch online shop. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
