MammothMarch Delaware Valley 2027
MammothMarch Delaware Valley takes place at Fair Hill Natural Resources Management Area on May 22, 2027. The event is a single-circuit loop covering 20 miles, with an overall elevation gain of around 1,600 ft. The route runs on mainly unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads and forest floor and follows scenic trails and creeks within the Fair Hill property, which sits near the Pennsylvania border and less than half a mile west of Delaware.
There is no official timing for participants; all who complete the distance receive a finisher medal and a personalized certificate. Participants who stop before the finish receive a certificate indicating mileage covered. Aid and refreshment stations are provided along the route, roughly every 5 to 7 miles, and include toilets plus a variety of food and drink options such as water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruits, bars and sandwiches. These refreshments are included in the event registration.
Small starting groups are used to limit the number of hikers crossing the start at the same time. Complimentary on site parking will be available. Merchandise will be offered for collection on event day or shipped when ordered through the event shop, and MammothMarch Hiking Passes will be available for new participants while returning participants can present existing passes to collect 2027 stamps. Final route details will be published in advance of the event and lodging information will be provided later. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
