MammothMarch Boston 2027 : Wompatuck State Park

MammothMarch Boston is a single-circuit, 20-mile outdoor hiking event taking place on June 5, 2027, at Wompatuck State Park, 204 Union St, Hingham, MA. The route covers varied terrain including paved and unpaved hiking trails, dirt trails, gravel roads and forest floor, with a total elevation gain of about 950 ft. The course is planned as one loop and the final route will be published roughly two weeks before the event.

Support along the route includes aid and refreshment stations positioned approximately every 5 to 7 miles. Stations provide toilets, food and drinks such as water, energy drinks, electrolytes, fruits, cereal and protein bars, and PBJ sandwiches; these refreshments are included in the ticket cost. Parking is complimentary on site and the start and finish are located at the park’s South Field. There is no official timekeeping; participants who complete the distance receive a finisher medal and a personalized certificate. Participants who stop early receive a certificate stating the mileage covered. MammothMarch issues hiking passes for new participants and stamps returning participants’ passes at the event. Merchandise is available through an event store for pick up on the day and through the organizer’s online shop for shipping.
