About the race
The Malvern Hills Trail Half Marathon is a 13 mile off-road trail running event held on Saturday 24 April 2027 in West Malvern, Worcestershire. The route begins on the grounds of the Elim Arts Centre and proceeds onto the Malvern Hills, running south through woodlands, fields and rolling hills toward Wynd’s Point before following the ridge north and dropping back to the finish. The course is varied and hilly and there is no cutoff time. The race headquarters is located in the Sugarloaf Café / Elim Arts Centre area in West Malvern (WR14 4AY).
Parking around the race HQ is limited because of nearby residential areas and the nature of the site; larger car parks further away are suggested. The event is waymarked and GPX files and maps are provided. There are three well stocked aid stations on the 13 mile route, including a feed and water station at the halfway point, additional feed/water stations and toilets about every three miles, and staffed checkpoints at miles three, six and nine. Entry costs £35 plus VAT and includes race entry, race timing, signposted route, free race photos, a donation to the Malvern Hills Trust, prizes or medals, feed stations, staffed checkpoints, event parking and physio support.
