Malvern Hills Trail Half Marathon
The Malvern Hills Trail Half Marathon is a 13 mile offroad trail race on the Malvern Hills, scheduled for Saturday 24 April 2027. The course starts from the grounds of Elim Arts Centre near the Sugarloaf Café in West Malvern, Worcestershire (WR14 4AY), and follows trails through woodlands, fields and rolling hills up to Wynds Point and along a ridge line before returning to the finish.
The route is varied and hilly and is arrow marked. GPX files and maps are provided. There are three well stocked aid stations on the 13 mile route, a feed and water station at the halfway point, feed and water stations and toilets approximately every three miles, and staffed checkpoints at miles three, six and nine. Race timing, prizes or medals, free race photos and a donation to the Malvern Hills Trust are included with entry.
Entry costs £35 plus VAT and includes race entry, race timing, signposted route, staffed checkpoints, feed stations and event parking. Physio support is available and a post race massage can be booked for £10 for 10 minutes. Parking around the race headquarters is limited; use of larger nearby car parks with a short walk to the site is advised. Places are limited and on the day entries are not permitted.
