Mallard Challenge
The Mallard Challenge is a six-hour timed event held at Kingsbury Water Park near Sutton Coldfield. Participants can run or walk as many laps as they wish within the time limit. The course is described as "super flat" and passes by five different ponds and a river, with views of wildfowl.
The lap distance is approximately 3.3 miles (5.3 km). Ground conditions are mixed, with sections on grass, gravel tracks, and a few short asphalt sections. The venue includes a cafe and toilet block. Parking is available for a fee.
Entry pricing is tiered, with a lower cost before a specified date. There is an option to raise funds for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity during registration. An alternative to receiving a finisher's medal is a tree token from Earth Runs, which includes wildflower seeds.
Dogs are not permitted at this event, but rucking is allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
