Making Strides Against Diabetes - Nashua
The Nashua Lions Club, in conjunction with the Merrimack Lions Club, organizes a community run and walk on May 17, 2026 at Mine Falls Park along the Nashua River in Nashua, NH. The event supports Camp Carefree, a summer camp in New Durham, NH for children living with diabetes. All proceeds go to this camp.
Participants may choose between these course options:
- 5 km run
- 3 km family friendly walk
Fee structure is age-based. Adult registration is $30, children under 12 register for $20, and children under 5 may participate for free. Event registration includes options for donations, merchandise, and a "Sleep in for Diabetes" option to contribute without attending. Sponsorship is available for $100.
Online registration is open through May 16, 2026 at 10:30 AM ET, and day-of-event registration is accepted. Registration for bibs and shirts opens at 7:30 AM and closes shortly before the event start. The cutoff date to guarantee a t-shirt is April 30.
