MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY GLOW 5K
The Make a Difference Day Glow 5K is an event held in Grand Blanc, Michigan. It is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026.
The event includes a 5K Glow Run and a 5K Glow Walk. There is also a virtual 5K option. The event is held to honor McKenna Schummer, an 11-year-old who passed away from Osteosarcoma. McKenna helped create the McKennassquad Beauty Bar at the Children's Hospital of Michigan, which provides support for children in hospitals. The initiative has expanded to deliver "Beauty Bar Boxes" to hospitals in Michigan and other states.
