Maison des Landes St Ouen Trail Run
The Maison des Landes Trail Run takes place at the Maison des Landes Accessible Hotel in St Ouen’s Parish on Sunday 31st May. The event offers three waymarked and marshalled trail distances that run across commons, coast path and quiet country lanes.
Participants can choose from:
- 5 km , loop around Les Landes Common towards Grosnez and return to the hotel.
- 10 km , continuing beyond Grosnez along the north coast path past Plémont and back via country lanes.
- Half marathon , following the 10 km route past Plémont then along the coast into the wooded trails of Grève de Lecq before returning to the hotel.
Refreshment stations are provided at 6 km for the 10 km and half marathon and at 14 km for the half marathon. At the finish each runner receives a medal and refreshments; prizes are awarded for the fastest times.
Mandatory safety kit includes trail running shoes, a warm top layer, a rain jacket if wet weather, a foil blanket, a roughly 1 litre water receptacle, a cup, energy bars or gels, and a fully charged mobile phone with What3Words installed. Emergency medical cover is provided and organisers have ensured runners are insured.
Runners under 16 on the 5 km route must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Route maps and more detailed race-day logistics are available at registration and will be sent to participants before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
