The series uses a large centralized aid station on its multi-loop courses with food, drinks and a mobile kitchen. All participants receive a shirt, a Starter Medal, a Year Tab Medal and a State Medal for each race completed; a Series Finisher Medal is awarded for completing all seven days. Additional awards include a first-time marathon or half marathon finisher recognition and a caboose medal for the final finisher of each marathon and half marathon.
Packet pickup options include a pre-series session on Friday, July 9 at the Defiance County Fairgrounds in Hicksville and race-day pickup at the start area. The organizer states a no runner left behind policy and no set time limit for marathons and shorter distances, while asking participants to finish at least 30 minutes before park closing. Entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Discounts are available for active military and certain club and local participants.
