Main Street Half Marathon - Hunterdon
The Main Street race weekend in Hunterdon County, New Jersey features multiple road races and an accompanying expo. Events take place in Clinton and at Hunterdon Healthcare's Flemington campus, with course routes that pass through Clinton, local country roads, wooded areas, and river views. The half marathon route moves from the Red Mill area through Clinton onto country roads toward Hunterdon Medical Center. The 4 mile course starts near the intersection of River and Kiceniuk Roads and finishes at Hunterdon Medical Center.
An on-site expo and packet pick-up is held at Hunterdon Healthcare's Flemington campus the day before race day. The expo includes family-friendly activities such as a petting zoo, pony rides, food trucks, craft brews from Sunken Silo Brew Works, music, and a variety of local vendors. A Superhero Sprint for children is held at the expo and the first 200 registered participants receive a cape.
Shuttle service is offered from Hunterdon Medical Center to the race starts. There are no shuttle returns to Clinton after the race, so parking in Clinton is available on a first-come basis. Nearby public parking lots include Clinton Municipal Offices, the Clinton Fire Department, Water Street Municipal Lot, and the Lower Center Municipal Lot.
