Maidstone Half Marathon
The Maidstone Half Marathon takes place on 18 October 2026 with event HQ in Mote Park, Maidstone ME15 7SX. It is part of the Kent Grand Prix for 2026. The route starts and finishes within Mote Park and then heads out into the surrounding countryside via a few town roads. Organisers note that parts of the course reuse sections from earlier editions.
The event includes a small Event Village inside Mote Park. The park provides space for family and friends to watch at the start and the finish. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age for entry is 17 years on the day.
Entry fees for advanced registrations are listed as £30 for affiliated club members and £32 for unaffiliated entries. On the day entries are subject to space and listed at £40. Advanced entries remain open until 1pm on the Wednesday before the event and on the day entries are available until 9am subject to space.
Previous participants described the course as hilly and scenic, and frequently praised marshals and traffic management at road crossings. Some reports mention sharing narrow country lanes with local traffic, occasional congestion near the finish and limited toilet facilities at certain points.
