Maidstone Half Marathon
The Maidstone Half Marathon returns for 2026 as an official part of the Kent Grand Prix. The event headquarters is located in Mote Park, a large green space in the centre of Maidstone. The course features a route that starts and finishes within the park grounds, extending out into the surrounding countryside via several town roads.
The course includes undulating terrain with approximately 900 feet of elevation gain. Key landmarks along the route include Pilgrims Way, and certain sections follow a historically popular race path from previous years. While some portions of the race take place on town roads and country lanes, the route remains open to traffic with marshals stationed at major road crossings and points of direction.
Participants can access a mini Event Village on-site, providing a central area for spectators to gather. Registration is open to runners aged 17 and over on the day of the event. Advanced entries are accepted until the Wednesday before the race, with on-the-day entries available if space permits.
The event offers one primary distance:
- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
On-site facilities include bag drop services, water stations along the course, and post-race refreshments such as fruit. Finishers receive a souvenir medal, and results are distributed via text message shortly after completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
