The Maidstone Half Marathon takes place on 18 October 2026. It is organised by Sporting Events UK and listed as part of the Kent Grand Prix for 2026. The event headquarters and start/finish are at Mote Park in central Maidstone, ME15 7SX. The race distance is a half marathon. Under UK Athletics rules the minimum age to enter is 17 years on race day.
Route, facilities and entry
The course starts and finishes inside Mote Park and goes out into the surrounding countryside and along some town roads. The organiser will provide a mini event village on site. Advanced entry fees are listed as £29 for affiliated club members and £31 for unaffiliated entrants. On-the-day entry is stated as £35, subject to space. Advanced entries are open until 1pm on the Wednesday before the event; on-the-day entries are available until 9am on race day, subject to space.
Participant feedback included repeated comments that the route is hilly and scenic, marshals were friendly and effective at road crossings, and water stations and finish refreshments were provided. Some reports mention traffic on narrow country lanes, limited toilet facilities on the route, and occasional bag-drop or parking issues.
