Madison Firecracker 10K

The course starts on a hilltop with views of the Ohio River, descends Hanging Rock Hill, and finishes downtown where there is post-race entertainment and awards. The event notes its proximity to regional cities: about 50 miles from Louisville and about 70 miles from Indianapolis and Cincinnati.
Entry fee information and packet pickup details are published for participants. The base race fee is $35 until July 3, with a race day fee of $40. A t-shirt is included if ordered by June 18; after June 19 limited shirts may be available on race day for $10. Vintage t-shirts are available on race day for $5.
Early packet pickup is scheduled for the Friday before the race at Crawley Heating and Cooling. Race day packet pickup and late registration are available at Madison High School. Overall awards go to the top three male and female finishers, and the top male and female walkers. Age group awards are given to the top three in each listed age group.
