Made for This 5K 2026
The Made for This 5K is an inaugural event hosted by the Women’s Alliance in Richmond, Virginia. This event focuses on community gathering and movement through a course located at 9900 Ridgefield Pkwy. Participants have the choice of several formats to complete the distance:
- 5 km run
- 5 km walk
- Virtual 5 km
The event is designed as a faith-centered and community-driven gathering where participants can move at their own pace. The registration is open to those running for personal goals or competition, as well as those completing their first 5 km distance. On-site registration is available 90 minutes before the event begins.
Following the physical activity, the event includes an After-Run Festival intended for all ages. This post-race gathering features local food trucks and entertainment options such as bounce houses and specific activities for children. The festival area provides music and space for participants and the local community to connect and relax.
