Mace’s Hideout 50/100
Mace’s Hideout is a trail ultramarathon held June 6, 2026, near Beulah, Colorado, in the Wet Mountains. The route crosses contrasting environments as it moves from the east to the west side of the range. The east side features firs, spruces and lodgepole pines with moss and higher alpine meadows. Higher elevations include aspen stands and open meadow sections. The west side opens into a drier landscape with pinon pines, junipers and ponderosa, and vegetation such as yuca, cactus and sagebrush. The course offers views of the Spanish Peaks to the south and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the west.

Race statistics list a high point of 11,659 ft, a low point of 6,608 ft and an average elevation of 9,058 ft. Total elevation gain is 22,500 ft and the time cut off is 36 hours. Entry is limited to 75 spots per distance. The event policy states no refunds and that rollovers will be considered if the entrant volunteers at one of the races that weekend.
