Course Description
Mace’s Hideout 100 takes place in Colorado's Wet Mountains, a sub-range of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The course winds up and down the range, traversing distinct ecosystems on the east and west sides. The east side features moss-covered firs, spruces, and lodgepole pines. At higher altitudes, there are alpine meadows with aspen trees. The west side is arid, with pinon pines, junipers, and ponderosa trees, along with yuca, cactus, and sagebrush. Views include the Spanish Peaks and the Sangre de Cristo mountains.

The event offers distances of 100 miles and 50 miles. The 100-mile route is 101 miles long. The high point is 11,659 feet, the low point is 6,608 feet, and the average elevation is 9,058 feet.
