Event Overview
Mace’s Hideout 100 is a running event that takes place in Colorado's Wet Mountains. The event offers two distances: a 100-mile course and a 50-mile course. There are 75 spots available for each distance.
Course Details
The course traverses the Wet Mountains, a sub-range of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Runners travel from the east side of the range to the west side, experiencing different ecosystems. The east side features fir, spruce, and lodgepole pine forests, while the west side has a drier landscape with pinon pines, junipers, and sagebrush. The course passes through alpine meadows.
The 100-mile route has a high point of 11,659 feet, a low point of 6,608 feet, and a total elevation gain of 22,500 feet. The cutoff time is 36 hours.
