Spirit of Macedonia 5K
The Spirit of Macedonia 5K takes place on June 20, 2026 at Longwood Park and the Macedonia Family Recreation Center, 1494 E Aurora Rd, Macedonia, OH 44056. The course uses both road and trail surfaces. Race day registration and packet pick up are available.
Event options include:
- 5K Run - 3.1 miles, chip timed
- 1 Mile Walk - 1 mile, untimed
- Kids Dash - no fee
Registration opens April 20, 2026. Pre-registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile; race day fees increase to $35 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 Mile. The Kids Dash is free and remains open through race day.
Awards for the 5K recognize the top five male and top five female finishers. Additional participant features for pre-registered 5K and 1 Mile entrants include T shirts for the first 200 registrants, a complimentary five day membership to the Macedonia Family Recreation Center, and entry to Spirit of Macedonia festival activities such as amusement rides, games, a craft beer garden, and food.
