Spirit of Macedonia Summer Fest 5K
The Spirit of Macedonia Summer Fest 5K takes place at Longwood Park and the Macedonia Family Recreation Center in Macedonia, Ohio. This event features a combination of road and trail surfaces across its different courses. Participants can choose from three distinct events:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk
- Kids Dash
The 5K Run is a chip-timed race with awards presented to the top five male and female finishers. The 1 Mile Walk is an untimed participation event. For the youngest attendees, a Kids Dash is available at no cost.
Participants in the 5K Run or 1 Mile Walk receive specific features as part of their registration. The first 200 pre-registered individuals are eligible to receive a commemorative T-shirt, subject to availability. Additionally, registrants receive a five-day membership to the Macedonia Family Recreation Center.
All participants gain entry to the Spirit of Macedonia Summer Fest following the races. The festival includes various attractions such as amusement rides, games, a craft beer garden, and food vendors.
