Event Overview
The Macedonia SummerFest 5K is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026. It is held at Longwood Park and the Macedonia Family Recreation Center, located at 1494 E Aurora Rd, Macedonia, Ohio.
Distances and Details
Three events are offered:
- 5K Run - This event is chip-timed. Awards are given to the top five male and top five female finishers in the 5K. The course uses both road and trail surfaces.
- 1 Mile Walk/Run - This is an untimed event.
- Kids Dash - This is a free event for children that starts after the 5K concludes.
Registration and Features
Packet pick-up is available only on the morning of the event. Pre-registration fees are $30 for the 5K Run and $20 for the 1 Mile Walk. Race-day registration fees are higher. The first 200 participants who pre-register for either the 5K or 1 Mile are eligible for a T-shirt, subject to availability.
Registration for the event includes entry to the Macedonia SummerFest, which features amusement rides, games, a craft beer garden, and food. Participants also receive a free 5-day membership to the Macedonia Family Recreation Center and a drink ticket provided by the Nordonia Basketball Association.
