The Macedonia SummerFest 5K takes place on June 6, 2026, at Longwood Park / Macedonia Family Recreation Center, 1494 E Aurora Rd, Macedonia, OH 44056. The event is held on both road and trail. It includes the following events:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk
- Kids Dash
The 5K is chip-timed. The 1 Mile is untimed. Awards for the 5K are given to the top five male and top five female finishers. Packet pick-up is available only on Saturday morning.
Registration, fees and features
Pre-registration and race day fees are listed for the 5K and 1 Mile: the 5K has separate pre-registration and race day prices, and the 1 Mile has separate pre-registration and race day prices. The Kids Dash is free. Registration for the 5K and 1 Mile opens April 20, 2026; registration for the Kids Dash opens April 19, 2026. The first 200 pre-registered 5K or 1 Mile participants are eligible for event T-shirts, subject to availability. Additional features include a free 5-day membership to the Macedonia Family Recreation Center, entry to SummerFest attractions such as amusement rides and food, and a drink ticket courtesy of the Nordonia Basketball Association.
