About the race
The Schneider Electric Maasmarathon is a transborder running event that takes place on Sunday 2 May 2027. The route runs through Belgian and Dutch countryside along the Meuse river, using quiet paths and scenic country roads.

The race is supported by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles and has multiple local sponsors, including Schneider Electric. Results from past editions are archived and photos are available from recent events.
Organisers run an environmental initiative that plants trees depending on the number of registrants: at 3000 entries 1500 trees, at 4000 entries 2000 trees, and at 5000 entries 2500 trees. Across the 2024 and 2025 editions a total of 5024 trees were planted. The event also lists a Pasta Party and a community project to create a 500 m2 terrace at Clinique Notre-Dame in Hermalle-sous-Argenteau.
