Ludlow Volunteer Firefighters Association 5 Alarm 5K Road Race/Walk
The Ludlow Volunteer Firefighters Association hosts a community 5K road race and walk on September 5, 2026 at the Ludlow Community Center, 37 Main Street, Ludlow, Vermont. The event features both competitive and recreational participation and is organized by the local fire department.
Registration is available in advance and on race day. Pre-registration fee is $25 and day-of registration is $30. Registrations completed prior to September 4 will receive a race T-shirt.
Awards are given to the top three finishers in each listed age category for female and male divisions: 11 and under, 12–18, 19–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60 and over. Additional awards include trophies for the fastest department based on the average of five runners and for the department with the largest participation. There is also a Best Team Costume award.
Race day programming includes a post-race cookout with burgers and hot dogs, a DJ providing music, and activities aimed at families and community members.
