The Lucky Leprechaun/Running 4 Their Lives 5k is scheduled for March 7, 2026, at 4th of July Park in Kernersville, North Carolina. The event is the 7th annual running of the race and is the first event of the 2026 DICK'S Piedmont Race Series. Proceeds support the Salem Pregnancy Care Center. Event timing is provided by Finish Line Timing and the series sponsor is DICK'S Sporting Goods.

Awards include Top 3 overall male and female winners and Top 3 male and female in the listed age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70+. Prize support includes DICK'S Bonus Certificates that function like cash at DICK'S and Golf Galaxy. The race has a St. Patrick's Day theme and will give prizes for Funniest and Most Creative costumes. Package pickup is provided on race morning; there is no early package pickup.
