Event Details
The Lucky Leprechaun 5k / Running 4 Their Lives 5k is scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2026. It takes place at 4th of July Park in Kernersville, North Carolina. This is described as the 7th annual event.
The event features two running components: a main 5k race and a shorter Pot O Gold Dash that follows immediately after. All proceeds from the event benefit the Salem Pregnancy Care Center. It is also listed as the first event in the "2026" DICK's Piedmont Race Series.
Schedule and Logistics
Package pickup opens at 7:30 AM and closes at 8:30 AM on race day. There is no early package pickup available. The 5k race begins at 9:00 AM. After the main event, awards are provided by DICK's Sporting Goods for the top three overall male and female winners, as well as the top three finishers in various age groups.
Additional Information
The event has a St. Patrick's Day theme. Participants are encouraged to wear Irish-themed costumes, with prizes awarded for the "Funniest" and "Most Creative" outfits. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
