Lucifer's Crossing is scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Old Y Camp in Robert Treman State Park, Ithaca, NY. Distances offered are a half marathon, a 10K (listed as ~6.66 miles), and a 5K (listed as 3.3 miles). Registration opens in October and closes on May 27. Early packet pickup is available the day before the event at the Y Camp staging area. Race-day check-in and packet pickup are available for each distance. A course cut-off is in place.

Course and logistics
All races start and finish at the Y Camp staging area. The course begins with a roughly 1.5 to 2 mile rolling ascent on the Rim Trail and an ascent of a historic stone staircase. 5K runners return via the Finger Lakes Trail singletrack. The 10K and half marathon courses descend through the Lucifer Falls gorge, climb the Red Pine Trail, cross the entry road, pass the historic Old Mill, and include a mostly downhill section on Finger Lakes Trail singletrack. Half marathon runners complete two loops of the 10K course. Parking is along the access road off Route 13 South; the Y Camp area is where check-in and the start/finish are located.
Entrant benefits and policies
Entrants receive park admission, an event T-shirt (only guaranteed for registrations submitted before May 1), and post-race food. The event has a no-refund policy; entries may be rolled to another Red Newt Racing event if notified at least 30 days before the race.
