Lucan Harriers 5 Mile Road Race
The event is a certified 5 mile road race taking place on 13 September 2026. The course includes a one-mile section along the Grand Canal and finishes on the club tartan track in Lucan. Roads on the route are closed to traffic through Lucan and Adamstown.
The race is open to a wide range of participants and includes the Dublin 5 Mile Championship. Wheelchair athletes, visually impaired runners, and participants from the deaf community are explicitly welcomed. Dedicated accommodations are provided for neurodivergent runners. Permit approval is recorded under certificate number 26/365. After the race, tea, coffee, cake and ice cream will be available in a marquee at the venue.
