Overview

The Love Yourself Run takes place on February 15, 2026 at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, California (780 E Shoreline Dr). The event offers the following distances:

  • 5K
  • 10K
  • 10-Miler
  • Half Marathon

All finishers receive a medal. Overall first-place medals are awarded to the top male and female in each distance. Race results and photos are delivered the day after the event; race photos are free.

Course and race services

The races use out-and-back loops along the beach path. The 5K route is used for the 5K (one lap) and 10K (two laps). The 5-mile route is used twice for the 10-Miler. The Half Marathon combines the 5-mile route twice and the 5K route once. The beach path is an open course shared with others; runners are asked to stay on the right side of the path while cyclists use the left.

On-course support includes a fully stocked water station at Belmont Pier and an aid station at the finish with water, Gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks. Each station has a first aid kit and crew members who have received CPR training. Turns are marked with chalk, runner turn signs, and flags. Gear check is available at the registration tent; participants should provide their own bag. Parking in the lot is $2 per hour and street parking is free.
