Event

The Love Yourself Run is scheduled for February 15, 2026 in Long Beach, California. The event takes place at Alamitos Beach, 780 E Shoreline Dr. It is part of the High Tide Runs series.

Location and logistics

Parking in the beach lot is charged at $2 per hour; street parking is free. Early bib pick-up is available the day before at Sports Basement Long Beach (2100 N Bellflower Blvd). Race-day bib pick-up and a registration tent are provided at the event. Participants are asked to wear their race bib on the front of their shirt. A gear check is available at the registration tent; participants should bring their own bag.

Course and on-course support

Courses are out-and-back on the beach path. The 5K route is used for the 5K (one lap) and 10K (two laps). The 5-mile route is used for the 10 Miler (two laps). The Half Marathon uses the 5-mile route twice plus the 5K route once. The beach path is open to the public; runners are asked to keep right for pedestrians while the left side is for cyclists. A fully stocked water station is located at Belmont Pier. The finish area has an aid station with water, Gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks. First aid kits are at each station and crew members have CPR training. Turns are marked with chalk, signs, and flags.

Awards and results

All finishers receive a finishing medal. Overall first-place medals are awarded to the top male and female in each distance. Race results and photos are provided after the event; race photos are free. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
