One Love Run – Long Beach

One Love Run in Long Beach is a multi-distance road race held at Alamitos Beach, 780 E Shoreline Dr. The event offers four distance options:

• 5K
• 10K
• 10 Miler
• Half Marathon

Registration opens in late March 2026 (March 25–26, depending on the distance) and closes on August 22, 2026. Registration fees listed for each distance are $29.50 for the 5K, $34.50 for the 10K, $38.75 for the 10 Miler, and $45.00 for the Half Marathon. Early bib pickup is available at Sports Basement Long Beach on the second floor the day before the race; a store discount is sent the week of the event.

The course uses out-and-back loops on the beach path and is an open course shared with other path users. Runners are asked to stay on the right side of the path; the left side is for cyclists. On-course support includes a fully stocked water station at Belmont Pier and a finish-line aid station with water, Gatorade, gels, and fruit snacks. Each station carries a first aid kit and crew members have received CPR training. Course turns are marked with chalk, signs, and flags.

Participants should wear their bib on the front of their shirt. A gear check is available at the registration tent; participants must provide their own bag. All finishers receive a medal and overall first male and female finishers in each distance receive 1st place medals. Race results and photos are sent after the event; race photos are free.
