The Love on the Run 5K is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Babcock Ranch in Punta Gorda, FL (16050 Babcock Trail). This is the inaugural Love on the Run 5K Run/Walk. The event is offered as part of the Babcock Winter Race Series bundle with a $5 discount per event.

Logistics and awards
The 5K is chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing. Registration options list a finisher medal and T-shirt for the timed event and the untimed event; listed prices increase after November 30, 2025. The shirt cutoff date is February 5, 2026; shirts are not guaranteed after that date. Early packet pickup is available on February 12 and February 13 at the Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office (42911 Lake Babcock Drive). Race day packet pickup will be at Bluebird Park (16050 Babcock Trail). Free ample parking is available near the starting area. Bathrooms and water stations are at the start and finish areas, with an additional water stop at the halfway mark. Post-race snacks and awards will be provided.
The course runs on paved roads and sidewalks. Dogs and strollers are allowed but must start at the back of the field; dog owners assume full responsibility and must leash and attend to their pets. Age group awards are based on off-chip time and there are overall and category awards, including in-person awards for the top three male and female finishers in detailed age groups.
