The Love on the Run 5K Run or Walk takes place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Punta Gorda, FL at Explorers Park, Babcock Ranch, 16800 Babcock Trail, 33982. The event includes the following distances:

Entry fees are stated for each event, with reduced youth pricing and a registration price increase after February 13, 2026. Participants receive a finisher medal.
Logistics, course and awards
The course is paved and flat. The 5K is chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing. The timed and untimed events start together, with untimed participants beginning from the back. Dogs on course must be leashed, up to date on vaccinations, and their handlers assume responsibility; participants with dogs start at the back. Strollers are allowed and must also start at the back.
Early packet pickup is available on February 12 and 13 at the Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42911 Lake Babcock Drive. Race day packet pickup and registration take place at Explorers Park. Free parking and restrooms are available at Explorers Park. Shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after midnight on February 5, 2026. Post-race snacks will be provided. Age-group awards are based on off-chip time and will be presented at the awards ceremony; awards will not be mailed.
