Love A Nurse RuN
Love A Nurse RuN takes place on September 20, 2026 at Edgewater Park - Lower Area in Cleveland, Ohio. Proceeds benefit The Alice Flaherty Excellence in Nursing Scholarship Fund, Inc. The event includes timed and untimed distances with awards and participant amenities.
Distances:
- 5K (3.1 Miles) Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
The 5K uses chip timing with MyLaps BibTag; the 1 Mile is untimed. Pre-registration and race day options are offered. Fees listed include a pre-registration rate of $25, a race day fee of $30, and a family rate of $70 for up to four members. Early packet pick up is available Friday, September 18 at Fleet Feet Westlake. Pre-registered participants are scheduled to receive a custom t-shirt by Wednesday, September 16, 2026.
Post-race refreshments, giveaway bags, door prizes, nurse recognition for nurses present, and age-group awards are part of the event. The 5K awards include top male and top female overall and the top three finishers in multiple age categories spanning 10 & Under through 75 & Older.
Dogs are allowed on course but should be kept on a short leash and lined up toward the back at the start area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
