Louisville Turtle Trot Walk/Run
The Turtle Trot Walk Run starts and finishes at Whalen Park in the town of Louisville. The park is located 1.5 miles west of the River Course at Louisville Landing Recreation on State Route 131. The event takes place along the St. Lawrence River.
The race course is a flat, scenic route of 3.4 miles that follows the riverfront.
Distances and entry fees:
- 3.4 miles - Age 12 and older; registration fee $30
- 3.4 miles - Age 1 to 11; registration fee $6
In-Law Brewing Company provides a ticket for a free beer to anyone of legal drinking age who registers. Curran Renewable Energy provides free T-shirts to the first 250 registrants; registration by July 6 guarantees a chosen T-shirt size.
Medals are awarded to the first place male and female finishers in each age group: 15 and under, 16 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
The Turtle Trot includes family-oriented activities and event features such as door prizes, raffle and auction tents, and a bounce house. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
