Louisville Fall Festival Glow 5K Run/Walk
The Louisville Fall Festival Glow 5K Run/Walk is an after dark community running event in the Village of Louisville, Illinois. The run begins on the square in front of the Clay County Courthouse immediately following the pageant and is presented by the Louisville Rotary Club.
Distances:
- 3.1 Miles 5K run
- 1 Mile fun run/walk
Registration carries a fee of $25 and includes a race bib, a goodie bag, and a t-shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by October 10 at 11:59 p.m.; any remaining shirts are distributed by registration order. Same-night registration and packet pick-up are available at the Louisville Rotary Tent on the square; the tent is also the location for participant item pickup before the race.
Parking is available throughout the village while downtown is closed for fall festival activities. An awards ceremony will be held after the race.
Course and participant guidelines include following signs on the right side of the road, avoiding crossing the finish line if the participant did not complete the course, and having walkers and strollers start toward the back of the field.
