Event overview
The Louisiana Triathlon takes place on May 2, 2026 in the New Roads / False River area of Louisiana. The event offers multiple divisions including Individual - Age Group, Beginner Athlete, Relay Team, Duathlon, Ainsley's Angel Athlete, and Ainsley's Rider. Relay teams may consist of two or three people and each team completes all three legs of the race.

Entry and categories
Entry fees vary by division: $75 for Individual/Age Group, $75 for Beginner Athlete, $40 for Relay Team, $75 for Duathlon, $40 for Ainsley's Angel Athlete, and $0 for Ainsley's Rider. Price increases after February 2, 2026. Individual, Beginner, Relay, and Duathlon divisions are open to ages 15 and older. Registration for Ainsley's Athlete and Rider divisions closes on May 1, 2026.
Course, awards and spectator information
The standard sprint format is an 800-meter swim, an 18-mile bike, and a 5K run; the beginner wave uses a 400-meter swim. The duathlon consists of the 18-mile bike and 5K run. Awards are given for overall and age-group categories across male and female divisions, with specific overall awards for Beginner and Duathlon divisions and awards for relay teams. Awards must be claimed on race day. Spectators are directed to view the start near the Morrison Parkway parking lot, transition on Main St., and the finish on St. Mary’s St. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
