Louisiana Triathlon
The Louisiana Triathlon takes place on False River in New Roads, Louisiana. The event offers several formats for participants.
Events include:
- Individual - Age Group: An 800-meter swim, an 18-mile bike ride, and a 5K run.
- Beginner Athlete: A 400-meter swim, an 18-mile bike ride, and a 5K run.
- Duathlon: An 18-mile bike ride and a 5K run.
- Relay Team: A team event for 2 or 3 people, covering an 800-meter swim, 18-mile bike, and 5K run.

- Ainsley's Rider
Awards are given for overall, masters, and grand masters categories for male and female athletes. Additional awards are given for first, second, and third place in age groups ranging from 15-19 to 70+. Awards are also presented for the beginner division and duathlon overall. All awards must be claimed on race day.
Course cutoffs are set for the swim, bike, and run segments. The event has a no-rescheduling policy and cancellation is at the discretion of race directors, primarily for safety reasons such as lightning. The race will proceed in light rain.
