Lotus 5k at Lotus Cars, Hethel
The event is a dedicated 5k running evening held on the full Lotus test track at Lotus Cars, Hethel, near Wymondham, NR14 8EZ on 12 June 2026. The course is new, uses smooth tarmac and is described as traffic free and without potholes.
Racing is available as an individual competition and as a team competition. Every entrant is entered and classified in the individual race regardless of team membership. Minimum age for entry is 11 years.
Team composition and scoring:
- Teams must consist of three to five runners.
- Teams compete together in a single category regardless of members' gender or age.
- Each team’s score is the average of the highest three age graded scores among its members.
Awards and prizes include mementos presented at the finish line for all finishers, trophies for individual places and age categories, and trophies for first to third place teams based on team scoring. The event names a Champion of the Event as the runner with the highest age graded score. Cash prizes of £50 are listed for the first open finisher, the first female finisher, and the Champion of the Event.
