The Lost Sierra Endurance Race takes place in Downieville, California on July 25, 2026. The 100K is an out-and-back route to Plumas-Eureka State Park with five unique aid stations (nine total stops) and three crew access points. The 100K lists 10,780 ft of elevation gain and a 20-hour cutoff; it requires runners to carry a space blanket, pack or hydration vest, and a headlamp. Pacers are allowed for 100K runners on the return at Aid #5 or Aid #2; no event shuttle is provided for pacers.
The 50K is a point-to-point course from Plumas-Eureka State Park to Downieville, with 5,360 ft of elevation gain, several aid stations, and a shuttle from Downieville to the start for a fee. The 25K is a loop from Downieville using First, Second, and Third Divide Trails, with 2,330 ft of elevation gain and one formal aid station.
Trail surface is reported as roughly 70% alpine singletrack, 20% mountain bike singletrack, and 10% dirt, gravel, or paved road. Aid stations provide water, hydration mix, and light food; Aid #1, #2, and #5 also offer warm food. Camping, parking, and lodging in Downieville are limited.
