Lost Creek Trail Runs
The event is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Joseph H. Stewart County Park, Day Use Area. Races start and finish at Picnic Area C and are organized by Woodlands Running Co.
Distances:
- 30K - circumnavigates the lake, counter-clockwise, trail and lakeside sections.
- 10K - north loop with mixed pavement and dirt, lake and river views.
- 5K - shorter loop following the same direction as the 10K, mixed surfaces.
The 30K course circles the lake and is marked with ORANGE ribbon. It includes two full-service aid stations and a water-only aid station near mile 15. The 10K is marked with WHITE ribbon and has one water-only aid station about halfway. The 5K is marked with BLUE ribbon and follows a shorter section of the 10K route. All courses start and finish at Picnic Area C rather than the marina.
Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers. All participants receive finisher medals and a breakfast burrito from Ruby’s. There will be raffle prizes. Coffee, donuts and cold drinks will be available for finishers and volunteers before and after the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
