The event offers three participation options:

5K Run
5K Walk
5K Virtual Run/Walk

All on-site events start together. Packet pickup is available the day before (Friday) at Lory's Place and on race morning at the event site. A group discount is offered for registrations of four or more people.

Event Purpose

This event is a fundraiser for Lory's Place, a Grief Healing and Education Center. All proceeds support its free grief support programs for children, teens, and adults in Southwest Michigan.

Location & Parking

The event is based at Lory's Place, located at 445 Upton Drive in St. Joseph. Parking is available in Whirlpool lots, accessible via Momany Drive turning onto Upton. Participants are asked not to use Upton/Klock Road.

Special Features

A Champions for Children Challenge invites students and school staff to represent their schools, with a trophy for the school with the most participants. There is also a Rocking Chair Raffle where all participants are eligible to win. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
