Lookin For A Cure Minneapolis
The event takes place at Lake Normandale at 84th and Chalet Rd., MN 55437 on June 13, 2026. It is organized by A Cure in Sight to take steps to find a cure for ocular melanoma. Ocular melanoma is estimated by the American Cancer Society to have roughly 3000 new cases each year nationwide.
Two race options are listed:
- 5 km Lookin' For A Cure 5K (in-person)
- 5 km Virtual Lookin' For A Cure 5K (virtual)
Participants receive a guaranteed t-shirt if registered by June 1, a finisher medal, food and drink, an aid station, a commemorative race bib, free downloadable photos, and official finishers time with age group placements. Free parking is available steps from the start line.
Registration for the in-person 5K opened in June 2025 with a fee of $20. Virtual registration opened in June 2025 with a fee of $40 and remained open through June 13, 2026. Race day programming lists registration, the race, and awards announcements.
