Longridge Daylight 10k Trail Run

Longridge Daylight is a charity 10 km trail run in the Ribble Valley on 11 October 2026. The event uses bridle paths, footpaths along the banks of the River Ribble and open farmland. The course starts from an elevated position overlooking the river and winds through scenic countryside where participants may spot deer and other wildlife. A GPX file of the route is available for download.

Organised by Longridge and North Preston Rotary Club, proceeds support Chipping Football Club's new 3G football pitch. A gin distillery bar will be on-site at the start and finish lines offering drinks for participants and guests. Each participant receives a free meal and a snood after the run. The minimum age for runners is 18 years. Entries open on 30 July 2026 and close on 9 October 2026; the stated entry fee is £20. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
