Long Night in Lanford is a dusk-to-dawn trail event on November 15-16, 2025 in Enoree, SC (210 Service Dr., 29335). The event program includes the overnight loop event and a separate 5K called "Afraid of the Dark." Entry fees listed for the events are $90 for the overnight event and $40 for the 5K.

The overnight event scores finishers who complete the first lap at dusk and the last lap at dawn. The overall winner is the participant with the most laps by sunrise. Proceeds benefit the Laurens County Humane Society. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations made by October 15.
Course and logistics
The course is a roughly 1-mile off-road loop that begins at a barn on gravel, goes downhill into woods, crosses an open field along Beaverdam Creek, passes through pine trees and hay pastures, and returns to the barn. The route includes uneven terrain and potential wildlife. Strollers and pets are not allowed.
Participants use personal headlamps or flashlights during night hours; event organizers will provide horn signals for race milestones, a direction change at midnight, and a final lap at dawn. An aid station will offer snacks, water, and hot food. Camping space and limited camper spots are available on site; packet pickup is scheduled during the event day.
