Long Night In Lanford is a dusk-to-dawn trail event on November 21, 2026, organized by G.O.A.T. Trail Running in Enoree, South Carolina. The event uses a lap format that runs through the night and into dawn; completing the first lap at dusk and the last lap at dawn is required to be a finisher.
The course is a 1-mile off road loop that starts at a barn on gravel, drops downhill into the woods, passes an open field along Beaverdam Creek, goes through pine trees and hay pastures, and returns to the barn on gravel. Participants should expect uneven terrain and possible wildlife. Strollers and pets are not permitted.
Runners record laps through the night; the participant with the most laps by sunrise is the winner. There are no cut off times and no speed requirements. Night running is done with headlamps and flashlights, and horn blasts mark key moments on the course. An aid station will be staffed overnight with snacks, water, and hot food.
The site offers space for tents and crew setups and on site packet pickup before the race.
