Long Night In Lanford
Long Night In Lanford is a dusk-to-dawn trail event in Enoree, SC organized by G.O.A.T. Trail Running. The event runs on a repeatable off-road loop; participants complete laps through farm and woods terrain and are scored by the number of laps completed by sunrise.
The course is a 1-mile loop that begins at a barn on gravel, descends into the woods, opens onto a field along Beaverdam Creek, passes through pine trees and hay pastures, and returns to the barn on gravel. The route includes uneven surfaces and possible wildlife. Strollers and pets are not allowed.
Race rules require completing the first lap at dusk and the final lap at dawn to register as a finisher. There are no cut-off times and no speed requirements; participants may walk, jog, or run. Horn blasts will be used to mark major race signals, including a mid-event direction change. Lights are needed after dark; participants should bring headlamps or flashlights. An aid station will be stocked with snacks, water, and hot food.
The venue offers space for tents and crew setups and same-day packet pickup. Post-race provisions include professional race photos, a hot breakfast at sunrise, awards for top finishers, and T-shirts guaranteed for entries completed by October 15.
