Cancer Research UK London Winter Run 10K
The Cancer Research UK London Winter Run is a ten kilometre (10 km) challenge through the heart of the capital. The route passes world famous landmarks and features live music performances and larger-than-life winter characters. Many participants run some sections and walk others, and the event includes a finisher medal that many return annually to collect.
The event began in 2015 and has grown steadily; more than 100,000 people have taken part and the event has raised nearly £8 million to support Cancer Research UK. In 2026 over 26,000 people took part. The event is delivered in partnership with Cancer Research UK and includes fundraising opportunities with rewards linked to fundraising levels.
Organisers describe a mix of entertainment and city running, with familiar features and seasonal characters appearing along the route. The event is presented as the largest 10k in the UK and has been run each year since its first edition. The next edition is scheduled for Sunday 21st February 2027. Information about entry windows, fundraising options and event features is available through the event organiser. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
