London Easter 10k
The London Easter 10k is a running event held within the grounds of Regent's Park. The course is set entirely on tarmac surfaces and is described as relatively flat. Participants follow a route that is self-contained within the boundaries of the park, ensuring a traffic-free environment with no roads to cross or vehicles to contend with.
The event offers several distances to accommodate different ages and interests:
- 10 km: A three-lap course for participants aged 15 and over.
- 2 Mile Fun Run: A single lap course open to those aged 9 and over.
- Junior Run: A distance of approximately 700 meters.
The route passes several of the park's landmarks, including the boating lake, the Broad Walk, and the London Zoo. The event is open to all registration levels, from those completing the distance for the first time to those seeking a personal best.
Registered participants receive a bespoke Easter-themed medal and access to free event photographs. Trophies and prizes are awarded to leading runners. The Race HQ is located at the Broad Walk. The site is accessible by public transport via the Regent's Park underground station or local bus routes. For those arriving by car, limited pay-and-display parking is available on the Outer Circle, though vehicles are not permitted to enter the park itself.
