Course and format
The main circuit at Berrinba Wetlands is a little over 5 km in length. To complete the half and full marathon distances, competitors run multiple laps of the circuit and surrounding paths. The organiser states a 9 hour time limit to complete the full marathon. Every competitor is given a timing chip inserted into a unique racing numberplate bib that participants design themselves; the bib is intended as a personal memento.
