Event Details
The Logan Fun Run is a community running event marking its tenth anniversary. It takes place on the grounds of Griffith University's Logan campus in Meadowbrook, Queensland.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- A 2 km Colour Fun Run.
- A 5 km course.
- A 10 km course.
The courses are described as cross-country and are run over a mix of surfaces including dirt, grass, gravel, and asphalt. The terrain features sharp turns, short steep hills, and long cambered sections.
The event supports Ronald McDonald House Charities South East Queensland. A 'Schools Challenge' category is available, offering schools a chance to compete and win a cash prize. Team participation is encouraged.
A race check-in is scheduled for the day before the event at the Leneen Forde Sports Fields. On race day, activities include warm-ups, presentations for each distance, and a cool-down session.
Registration and Pricing
Registration is available in early bird, standard, and late entry phases, with different fees for each distance. There is a minimum age requirement for each event: 3 years for the 2 km, 5 years for the 5 km, and 12 years for the 10 km.
The event offers limited-edition commemorative merchandise, including t-shirts and caps, which can be purchased during registration. The first 100 registrants for the 5 km or 10 km events receive a free cap.
