Logan Fun Run
The Logan Fun Run is a cross country event held at the Griffith University Logan Campus in Meadowbrook. The courses are designed to traverse the scenic areas of the campus and Riverdale Park, featuring a variety of terrain including dirt, grass, gravel, and asphalt. Participants encounter a route with sharp turns, short steep hills, and long cantered sections.
The event is open to both runners and walkers, with several distance options available:
- 2km Colour Fun Run
- 5km Run
- 10km Run
A dedicated Schools Challenge is also part of the program, allowing school communities to compete for a cash prize. The event precinct includes a warm-up area, presentation ceremonies for the different race categories, and a race merchandise store.
The event supports Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland as its official charity partner, with fundraising efforts directed toward supporting families with ill or injured children. The race takes place on the traditional lands of the Yuggera, Turrbal, Yugarabul, Jagera, and Yugambeh peoples. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
