LoCo Sprint Tri
LoCo Sprint Tri takes place on July 26, 2026 at the Broadlands Community Center in Ashburn, Virginia. The event combines a pool swim, a bike course through the Broadlands neighborhood, and a 5k run on neighborhood paths. Distances for the main solo event are:
- 300 meter pool swim
- 12 mile bike through the Broadlands neighborhood
- 5k run along neighborhood paths
Entries are offered for solo athletes and for two-person and three-person relay teams. Registration details in the source list different opening and closing dates for the solo event and for relay entries. Entry fees listed are $95.00 for the solo triathlon and $45.00 for relay teams.
Participants receive a commemorative soft blend t-shirt and a finisher medal. Athletes' age is determined as of December 31, 2026. Awards are given to the top three solo athletes in each 10 year age group for males and females. For relay teams, awards are given to the top three teams in all male, all female, and combination categories.
