Locke Lake-a-Thon
This is the first annual Locke Lake-a-Thon organized by the Locke Lake Colony Association. The event is a community run, walk, or bike around Locke Lake held on July 4, 2026, with courses that use local access points and lakefront roads.
The event begins at the Lodge/Pool 1 at 43 Colony Drive. Two course options are offered:
- 4.5 Miles full lap around Locke Lake
- 2.5 Miles half lap, finish at North Barnstead Beach
The half course finishes at North Barnstead Beach; parking for the half finish is available on Monroe Drive, which is directly across from Varney Road. Participants on the half course are responsible for arranging transportation from the finish area. Registration for the events opens in mid May and closes on July 4, 2026; the registration fee is $10 for each distance. Participants may choose to run, walk, or bike either course.
