Locke Lake-a-Thon

The Locke Lake-a-Thon is the second annual community event organized by the Locke Lake Colony Association. It offers looped routes around Locke Lake with options for running, walking, or biking.

Routes described:

  • Full lap: about 4.5 Miles, returning to 43 Colony Drive.
  • Half lap: about 2.5 Miles, starting at the Lodge/Pool 1 and finishing at North Barnstead Beach.
  • Bike option: choices of 2.5 or 4.5 Miles.

The half route finishes at North Barnstead Beach. Parking for the half finish is available on Monroe Drive, directly across from Varney Road. Participants finishing at North Barnstead Beach are responsible for arranging their return from the finish area. The main gathering point for the event is the Lodge/Pool 1 at 43 Colony Drive in Center Barnstead, New Hampshire.

The event was created to encourage local activity within the community and was scheduled for the July 4th weekend. A uniform registration fee applies to participants.
