About the race
The Run Loch Lomond event on 5 June 2027 offers multiple races around Moss O'Balloch Park in Balloch, Alexandria, West Dunbartonshire G83 8LE. The programme includes a 10 km, 5 km and a Fun Run.

The 10 km route is relatively flat and described as fast, using paths within Balloch Castle Country Park and the cycle path along the River Leven with views of Loch Lomond. The 5 km course runs entirely inside Balloch Castle Country Park and contains some inclines and declines with a downhill finish. The 10 km route was adapted in 2025 so the loop between the 4 km and 8 km points is now run in the opposite direction to earlier years; this section follows the River Leven between Balloch Bridge and Bonhill Bridge, includes crossings at Bonhill Bridge and Stuckie Bridge, and returns to Balloch Park.
Entry and race pack information: race packs by post require entry by 10:00 on 24 May 2027; online entry remains open until 10:00 on 3 June 2027. Refunds are offered minus a 20 percent admin fee for cancellations made by 31 March 2027; no refunds after that date but deferrals are permitted until 30 April 2027.
The event provides an event branded running t-shirt, a bespoke race medal, water and snacks, and a prize list for individual and team awards.
