Event Overview
The Live. Laugh. Run. 5K is an annual running event in Auburn, Alabama. It is hosted by the Pi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Psi, a national honorary fraternity dedicated to serving college and university bands.
Purpose and Background
The event honors the memory of Sarah Anderson, a former Auburn University student, piccolo player in the Auburn University Marching Band, and member of Kappa Kappa Psi, who died in a car accident in 2009. All proceeds from the event fund the Sarah Anderson Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded to a deserving band member each fall semester.
Event Details
The event is a 5K race. It takes place at Cater Lawn in Auburn. Registration is $30 for the general public and $25 for all current students and Auburn University Marching Band alumni. The registration price increases by $5 starting March 1. Participants who register by February 28 are guaranteed a race shirt.
