The Sigma Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta at Auburn University will host the 33rd Annual Shamrock 5k Run on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Auburn, Alabama. The event raises funds for Prevent Child Abuse America and for Special Deliveries of Lee County. The run starts at the corner of W. Thach and Wire Road, located between Farmhouse and Sigma Nu fraternity houses. Parking is available in the Auburn University RO (overflow) parking lot at 901 W Thach Ave, Auburn, AL 36832.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Online registration for the 5k closes February 2, 2026. Fees and options listed by the organizer include a student registration fee of $15 (does not include a t-shirt; student ID required at packet pickup; use code “student15”) and a regular registration fee of $35. Participants who register by January 18 receive a complimentary runners t-shirt. Race day in-person registration is offered at a higher fee.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, February 6 (Leischuck Hall, The Village | Kappa Delta Chapter Room) and race day packet pickup at the starting line on Saturday. Awards will be presented to first-place male and female overall and to first-place male and female in the following age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and up.
