Event overview
The Sigma Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta at Auburn University will host the 33rd Annual Shamrock 5k Run on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Auburn, Alabama. The run is part of the national Shamrock Project and raises funds for Prevent Child Abuse America and for Special Deliveries of Lee County. The course starts at the corner of W. Thach and Wire Road, located between the Farmhouse and the Sigma Nu fraternity house. Parking is available in the Auburn University RO overflow parking lot at 901 W Thach Ave.
Registration, packet pickup and awards
Registration options include a student rate of $15 (code "student15"; student ID required at packet pickup) and a regular registration fee of $35. Online registration opens December 12, 2025, and closes February 3, 2026. Race day registration is listed at $60. Participants who register by January 20 will receive a complimentary runner t-shirt. Packet pickup is scheduled the day before at Leischuck Hall, The Village (Kappa Delta Chapter Room), with race day pickup at the starting line location. PR t-shirts are available for pickup on the Friday before the run; shipping is offered at the purchaser's expense. Awards will be presented to first-place male and female overall and to first-place male and female in these age groups: 14 & under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60 and up.
